PABLO LEÓN CANDELA/ ESPAÑA / 1990

Pablo LEÓN CANDELA (Spain) was born in 1990. He started his saxophone studies in Ibi (Spain) and continued at the Conservatorio Profesional de M.sica de Elche with teacher Alejandro Juarez. During his saxophone studies he participated in masterclasses with Antonio Felipe Belijar, Federico Coca Garc.a, Claude Delangle, Jean-Denis Michat, Ensemble Squillante, Vincent David and others. He has been studying at the Conservatorio Superior de M.sica de Aragón (CSMA) with the teacher Mariano Garc.a since 2010.

EUDES BERNSTEIN / FRANCE / 1994

Eudes BERNSTEIN (France) was born in 1994. He studied at the Regional Paris Conservatory (Diploma in Music) with Phillipe Portejoie and Davy Basquin; at the Versailles Conservatory with Vincent David (2012-2013). He has won various awards at national and international competitions (Bellan, Adolphe Sax, Lempdes, Saxiana), while taking an active part in the Youth French National Harmony Orchestra, and has done masterclasses with Christian Wirth, Jean Denis Michat, Masataka Hirano, Claude Delangle, Jean Yves Fourmeau, Vincent David, Arno Bornkamp and Pierre Strauch. Among the various activities he has also recorded a Concertino by Thierry Escaich.

NINGXIN SU / AUSTRALIA / 1991

Ningxin SU (Australia) was born in 1991. He is a student of Vincent David at CRR de Versailles in France, has been the recipient the Peter Clinch memorial award, Hephzibah Menuhin Memorial Award, and the 3MBS classical FM young performer of the year award. He was a finalist at the ABC Young Performers Award performing with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and was a semi-finalist in both the 2nd and the 3rd International Jean- Marie Londeix Saxophone Competition, in which he received a special award as the youngest semi-finalist.

JANEZ URSEJ/ SLOVENIA / 1989

Janez URŠEJ (Slovenia) was born in 1989. He completed the Fran Korun Koželjski Junior and Senior High School of Music in Velenje under the guidance of Prof. Gorazd Topolovec. In 2012, he completed the first degree of the Bologna programme at the Conservatory in Vienna with Prof. Lars Mlekusch. He is currently studying teaching playing and singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.

YOSHIYUKI SHISHIDO/ JAPON / 1983

Yoshiuki SHISHIDO (Japan) was born in 1983. He graduated from the Showa Academy of Music where he won several prizes. He graduated from the Versailles music academy with top marks. He played with Sendai Philharmonic orchestra and the Showa Academy of Music Orchestra as a soloist. He studied under art teachers Toru Furumizo, Yasuto Tanaka and Vincent David.

LOVRO MERCEP/ CROATIE / 1990

Lovro MERČEP (Croatia) was born in 1990. He started studying saxophone in Samobor and continued at the Music Academy of Zagreb. For two years, he was studying in Lyon with Prof. Jean- Denis Michat. While studying, he won several prizes in national and international competitions. He performed as a soloist with the Zagreb Philharmonic and the Croatian Chamber Orchestra. Currently, he is in his fifth year of saxophone at the Music Academy of Zagreb in the class held by Prof. Dragan Sremac and, simultaneously, in his first year of advanced studies in Versailles with Prof. Vincent David. He is performing in whole Europe as a member of a range of chamber orchestras.

BLAZ MIJOVIC/ SLOVENIA / 1987

Blaž MIJOVIČ (Slovenia) was born in 1987 in Celje. After completing his junior music studies, he enrolled on the Gymnasium of Performing Arts in Maribor and achieved a diploma with distinction. He is currently studying at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and at the CRR de Versailles. He participated in a range of national and international competition, winning several awards, and attended a number of summer schools led by renowned professors Vincent David, Jean-Denis Michat, Arno Bornkamp, Claude Delangle and Kenneth Tse. As a soloist, he performed with the Slovenian Philharmonic.

MAKOTO HONDO/ JAPAN / 1989

Makoto HONDO (Japan) was born in 1989. After graduating in 2012 from the Tokyo University of Arts, he continued his studiesat the Conservatoire National Sup.rieur de Musique et de danse de Paris. In 2010, he qualified for the semi-finals of the 5th Adolphe Sax International Competition in Belgium, and the semi-finals of the 3rd “Jean-Marie Londeix” International Saxophone Competition in Thailand.

JAN GRICAR/ SLOVENIA / 1992

Jan GRIČAR (Slovenia) is studying at the Music Academy in Ljubljana in the class of Prof. Matjaž Drevenšek. Ha has won an array of top awards in national and international competitions. He is continuously upgrading his knowledge under the guidance of worldrenowned professors. He has also been awarded the Škerjanec Prize (CMB Ljubljana), the Prešeren Award (University of Ljubljana) and a scholarship by the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe. He performed as a soloist with the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra and the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, while also being a member of the ColorFour saxophone quartet.

NOZOMI SAKAI / JAPAN / 1989

Nozomi SAKAI (Japan) was born in 1989. She graduated from the Soai University under the guidance of art teachers Jun Nishimoto and Masahiro Maeda. Currently, she is studying at the Conservatoire . Rayonnement R.gional in Versailles under the guidance of Vincent David.
